In Kimchi City, Sundays are for lazing and rolling around the bed. Since breakfast is provided and I am too lazy to cook myself, I set alarm to wake up at 8am. The plan was to shower, grab breakfast 'soon pin' watch CNN at breakfast hall then go back and pig out.

But co of mine called while I was dozing the morning away and asked if I want to go to this place called Myeong Dong. It looked like Woman Street of Hong Kong. A lot of tourist. I am sure the translation of Myeong Dong means woman street. Ha ha ha. There are many tourist, especially Japanese.

My Co and I don't dare to venture far, cause I am suppose to go back to my apartment for some admin work. So she gave me a flavour of Myeong Dong and bring me to this Sotong Hawker. It's the only sotong hawker with a kick ass sotong in front of the stall. Here I get to eat freshly grilled sotong that you guys can only scoop at Jusco for 3000 won. Sotong tentacles sold seperately at cheaper price of 1500 won.

How to order? I just point to the sotong body and aunty slap a sotong body between the metal presser and dump a slab of butter. Then u hear the hiss of butter melting and heavenly smell...oh yum yum. When sotong ready, it will roll out from butt, sliced. Aunty will give you paper bag and you need to scoop up your own sotong. It's the best snack for cold weather. If you buy tentacles, aunty will package for you. I dunno why. The whole street is peppered with such stall but according to co, this is the best. I have to agree. I still have some of the sotong on my kitchen table, a bit stiff lio.

After that friend also intro the ice cream. That I don't quite like. Yogurt ice cream. Reminds me of those self made milo popsicles at home.

After a quick one hour foray, we made our way home. It's actually within walking distance about 15mins from apartment. On the way back, we cross a river and she said, " If you super sien and nothing to do, you can walk along this river, it's 5km long."
